Dr. Vincent A. Chehval specializes in Urology. He joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2017.
Dr. Chehval was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Dayton in Ohio, earning a bachelor’s degree in science with a minor in psychology. He then went on to complete a master’s degree with a thesis in physiology at Loyola University in Chicago in 2005. Following, he attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was awarded Honors for the top performance in the behavioral sciences department and for the most outstanding ability in the department of surgery. He graduated medical school in 2010 and completed the early years of his residency at St. Louis University before completing his training in urology at the University of Iowa in 2017.
Dr. Chehval has a particular interest in endoscopic surgery, minimally invasive surgery (robotics/laparoscopy), stone disease, management of BPH and infertility.
Dr. Rahul Thaly specializes in urology, and his clinical interests include urologic cancer and laparoscopy. He also specializes in the care of patients with prostate and kidney cancer. Along with his medical team at Valley Urology Associates, he entered a partnership with Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2010. During his academic career, Dr. Thaly completed a six-year residency training program while attending the University of Illinois in Chicago. He continued to study robotics/laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery while completing his fellowship at Ohio State University. He was under the guidance of Dr. Vipul Patel, a world-renowned leader in robotic and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Thaly has been involved in more than 400 robotic and laparoscopic surgeries, and his experience in robotic surgery makes him one of the foremost urologists in the Valley. In addition to robotic surgery for prostate cancer, he also specializes in the treatment of kidney cancer with minimally invasive, kidney-sparing alternatives, such as laparoscopic partial nephrectomy and radiofrequency ablation. With his advanced skills, he has worked as an instructor for courses on Advanced Robotic laparoscopic techniques throughout the country.

Dr. Sivarajan completed his General Urology residency training at prestigious New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City. He went on to pursue additional specialty fellowship training at the nationally renowned Hackensack University Medical Center where he specialized in Laparoscopy, Robotic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Urology.
Dr. Sivarajan practices the full spectrum of Adult Urology, however, he has specialized training in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery for the treatment of cancers of the prostate, kidney, bladder, adrenal gland, ureter and renal pelvis as well as reconstructive urologic surgery. Dr. Sundararajan Jayachandran specializes in urology. He joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2011 when his team at Northwest Urology Associates, entered into partnership with the practice.
Dr. Jayachandran earned his Bachelor of Science from the Sainik School and attended medical school at Stanley Medical College, both in India. He completed his internship and then a residency in both general surgery and urology at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he would eventually serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Jayachandran also holds an MBA from George Washington University.
Prior to joining Northwest Urology Associates and Arizona Center for Cancer Care, Dr. Jayachandran held medical positions at the Arizona Medical Clinic, Sun Valley Urology, Cigna Medical Group and the VA Medical Center, among others.

Prabhakar Pandey, MD, FRCS, FACS, is a board-certified urologist and a compassionate physician. He treats patients at Arizona Urology, which has three clinics conveniently located in Goodyear, Glendale, and Gilbert, Arizona.
Dr. Pandey was initially educated at Patna Medical College in Patna, India, where he earned a master of surgery in general surgery. He relocated to Scotland to study at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, where he earned his fellowship of the royal colleges of surgeons. He eventually relocated again to the United States, completing a residency in urology at the University of Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi.
At Arizona Urology, Dr. Pandey specializes in general urology, urinary stones, female urology, urologic oncology, reconstructive urology, and laparoscopy and minimally invasive urological procedures. He’s also regarded for his advanced skill set in ureteroscopy and retrograde intrarenal surgery and urological reconstruction laparoscopy. He’s currently a member of the American Urological Association, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is certified by the American Board of Urology.
When he isn’t working with patients at Arizona Urology, Dr. Pandey is heavily involved in scientific research and instrument design communities. He’s been published in numerous national and international scientific journals, has served as a peer reviewer for scientific journals and annual meetings, and has had publications cited in several prostate cancer guidelines. He’s also contributed his expertise as a consultant to the medical device industry and venture capital firms.
Prior to joining the team at Arizona Urology, Dr. Pandey was an attending physician at numerous hospitals in Arizona and Maryland. He looks forward to looking after his patients’ health in a private practice setting at Arizona Urology.
Stephen Larsen, MD, is a highly skilled urologist and accomplished physician. He currently serves the community of the Valley at Arizona Urology, which has three clinics conveniently located in Goodyear, Glendale, and Gilbert, Arizona.
Dr. Larsen graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois. He earned his medical degree and completed his surgical training at Rush Medical College in Near West Side, Chicago, where he was named Intern of the Year. He then went on to complete a residency in urology before taking up an andrology (male infertility) fellowship at University College London Hospital.
At Arizona Urology, Dr. Larsen specializes in infertility and surgical procedures, including such niche treatments as vasectomy reversals and vasoepididymostomies. He’s also highly skilled in post-surgical and corrective surgery, such as prosthetics and artificial sphincters. He also has a keen interest in treating Peyronie’s Disease. Pankaj M. Jain, MD, MBA, is a board-certified urologist and one of Phoenix Magazine’s “Top Doctors” in Urology. He currently treats patients at Arizona Urology, which has three convenient locations in Goodyear, Glendale, and Gilbert, Arizona.
Dr. Jain earned his medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. He graduated in the MD/MBA program, also earning a degree in health services management and finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He stayed at Northwestern University for his residency, which he completed in urology.
At Arizona Urology, Dr. Jain specializes in oncology, female urology, stones, benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), and laparoscopy. He’s regarded as a leader in his field in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic-assisted surgery and robotic radical prostatectomies. Board-certified urologist Anthony Woodruff, MD, is passionate about providing timely, personal, and compassionate world-class urologic care. He brings his extensive experience to the team at Urologic Surgeons of Arizona, where he sees patients from the practice's offices in Mesa and Chandler, Arizona.
Dr. Woodruff was born and raised in Arkansas, where he attended Harding University and graduated Magna Cum Laud with a B.S. in Biology. He then attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, earning his Medical Doctorate. For his post-graduate training, he completed a surgical Internship at Louisiana State University and Oschner Medical Center.
After completing his Internship, Dr. Woodruff completed his urologic Residency at both Louisiana State University and Oschner Medical Center. A portion of his training occurred at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, as a result of necessary evacuation from Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Upon completing his Residency, Dr. Woodruff completed a Robotic/Minimally Invasive Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the prestigious Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. This Fellowship had a special focus on the treatment of all kinds of urologic malignancies, including prostate, bladder, kidney, penile, and testicular cancers utilizing the most up-to-date minimally invasive techniques available.
After finishing his Fellowship, Dr. Woodruff moved to Northwest Arkansas, where he practiced until 2012, serving as Director of Robotic Surgery at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas.
