Dr. Kupferman graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at the same university. The doctor then completed her fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York. After moving to Seattle, Washington, she earned a second fellowship in Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Virginia Mason Hospital. Since that time, she has continued to pursue her education focusing on her areas of specialization.
Jeffrey Cooper, DO, is an experienced urologist who treats men, women and children in western Washington at Valley Urology Center in Renton, Washington. Dr. Cooper started his urology practice in 2005.
Dr. Cooper was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest but headed east to complete his undergraduate studies at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. He returned to the West Coast to attend medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.
After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Cooper moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for a surgery internship. He then began five years of urology training in a program affiliated with Michigan State University.
Dr. Cooper was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and moved back in 2005, where he’s enjoyed practicing urology and continues to stay up to date on the most specialized and sophisticated procedures available. These include advanced laparoscopic surgery, laser and shock wave therapy for urinary stones, microwave thermotherapy, and laser therapies for prostate enlargement. Dr. Cooper also performs cutting-edge, robot-assisted surgical procedures using the da Vinci® Surgical System.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cooper has pursued numerous urologic interests, including benign prostatic hyperplasia, laparoscopic surgery of the urinary tract, oncology, urinary incontinence, kidney stones, and no scalpel vasectomy. Dr. Cooper is board certified and a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, and Washington State Urology Association.
When Dr. Cooper isn’t caring for his patients, he enjoys playing golf, water sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.
