She is also very focused in pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, female urology, and minimally invasive robotic surgery.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, she completed her undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. McCauley went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Medicine with honors from Eastern Virginia Medical School as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed her residency at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Dr. McCauley has had extensive training in all areas of urology and welcomes patients with all urologic conditions. She joined Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2010 when her team at Valley Urology Associates, entered into partnership with the cancer center.

Dr. Rahul Thaly specializes in urology, and his clinical interests include urologic cancer and laparoscopy. He also specializes in the care of patients with prostate and kidney cancer. Along with his medical team at Valley Urology Associates, he entered a partnership with Arizona Center for Cancer Care in 2010. During his academic career, Dr. Thaly completed a six-year residency training program while attending the University of Illinois in Chicago. He continued to study robotics/laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery while completing his fellowship at Ohio State University. He was under the guidance of Dr. Vipul Patel, a world-renowned leader in robotic and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Thaly has been involved in more than 400 robotic and laparoscopic surgeries, and his experience in robotic surgery makes him one of the foremost urologists in the Valley. In addition to robotic surgery for prostate cancer, he also specializes in the treatment of kidney cancer with minimally invasive, kidney-sparing alternatives, such as laparoscopic partial nephrectomy and radiofrequency ablation. With his advanced skills, he has worked as an instructor for courses on Advanced Robotic laparoscopic techniques throughout the country.
Dr. Thaly is a member of the American Urological Association and the Robotic Surgery Working Group. He has published his medical research for the Journal of Urology, British Journal of Urology, the Journal of Robotic Surgery, Contemporary Urology, and Issues in Urology. Dr. Shahon is a board-certified urologist in Mesa, Arizona, where he is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Banner Baywood Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, and Tempe St. Luke's Medical Center.
A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine where he earned his medical degree, Dr. Shahon completed his residency at the University of Washington in Seattle and the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System (Northwell Health) in New York.
Dr. Shahon has been in practice for more than 20 years. He specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the male reproductive system and the urinary tracts of both men and women.
