Amanda was born and raised in northwest Kansas. She attended Wichita State University where she completed her Master of Physician Assistant studies. Since graduation, Amanda has practiced emergency medicine, inpatient medicine, and family medicine in a critical access hospital and urgent care medicine in rural health clinics. She enjoys taking care of urgent needs in patients of all ages. After growing up and practicing in a small community, Amanda understands the need for quality healthcare when something urgent may arise. Melinda attended University of Florida where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. She then migrated even further south to Miami where she graduated with a MCMS from the Barry University Physician Assistant program. She has since worked in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, and Primary Care settings across the US. She served in the USAF for 3 years alongside her husband, but stepped back when her first daughter was born with a heart defect requiring open heart surgery. Her husband remained in the military, taking them from VA to AK to TX. Melinda now homeschools her 3 daughters, works part time in a local UC, and is excited to take care of your urgent and/or chronic medical needs. Melinda believes that the key to your health includes proper nutrition, exercise, and self care, along with modern medicine.
