Patients are key, the most important thing in this business. I love to build relationships with my patients. Listening to the patients, a simple hug, or a handshake can make all the difference in the day for both the provider and patient.
In this county, my goal was to provide a new approach to health care. A new resource, something we see in surrounding areas already. An urgent care only setting with walk-in and appointment availability. Quick, walk-in, convenient care at optimal times, all with that hometown environment and a friendly, familiar face.
“Can not explain in words our gratitude for the care and ongoing concern we’ve had!! There’s nothing in the world like someone who hears your needs regarding your child. Sooooo grateful!!”
I believe that the practice of medicine is ministry. It is a deep connection between patients and their healthcare provider. I strive to practice excellent medicine while focusing on the individual needs and concerns of patients. As a nurse practitioner I am focused on wellness, shared decision making, and the health of the community as a whole.
Before leaving a career in emergency medicine, I began writing and speaking about clinician burnout.
After graduating from Lincoln Memorial University I started my nursing career on a medical surgical floor and later obtained experience in other fields including the public school setting, home health, ICU, and emergency department. After a little over 10 years of nursing experience I earned a Master's degree from King University. I am genuinely humbled to be serving the people of this area that I have grown to love.

I started in Urgent care with the goal of helping patients feel better and having walk in appointments. I enjoy learning about different patients, and can never meet a stranger. Being a patient advocate is the best job to have and I find this job one of the most rewarding.

“The overall care was good, but the business was not right. I was told I didn't have to pay a visit fee because I was getting the yellow fever vaccination. I told them I also wanted to get the whopping cough vaccination and was also told I didn't have to pay for it because it would be billed to my insurance. So I paid for the yellow fever vaccination. After I received both vaccination I was told I had to pay $35 visit fee for the whopping cough. I explained that was not right to tell me after and had I known that, I wouldn't have gotten it there because me job gives them for free. Also, someone else came in with an issue related to the business side of his visit when I initially paid. I would only go here if I needed care. ”
