Dr. Eghbalieh finished his undergraduate degree at University Of California, Irvine, and completed his medical degree at the Sackler School Of Medicine through Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel. He returned to the United States to complete his internship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and then his residency in general surgery at Fresno Medical Center in Fresno, California, through University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Eghbalieh furthered his medical training in pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
Having spent the last decade as academic faculty at UCSM’s department of surgery, Dr. Eghbalieh is now an associate clinical professor of surgery at the university.
