Sean J. Wollaston, MD, is a board-certified rheumatologist at Rheumatology Associates in North Hollywood, California.
Dr. Wollaston completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Before moving to Los Angeles, he earned his medical degree with honors at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, to fulfill his internal medicine residency at the University of California in Los Angeles.
Following his residency at UCLA, Dr. Wollaston completed a rheumatology fellowship where he was the recipient of the American College of Rheumatology Clinical Investigator Award.
Before joining the team at Rheumatology Associates, Dr. Wollaston served as a clinical instructor of medicine and an assistant clinical professor for three years at UCLA. During his teaching years, Dr. Wollaston provided Rheumatology Board Review for UCLA internal medicine residents, served as the chair of the Arthroscopy Study Group for the American College of Rheumatology and the chair of the Rheumatology Section, Pathophysiology of Disease for second-year medical students.
Dr. Wollaston is also the co-author and reviewer of numerous medical research papers and book chapters and is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
