He is the former Chairman of ACOG District 2 Section 3, and holds numerous other leadership positions including former president of Queens Ob/Gyn Society, former Vice Chairman, as well as Secretary and Treasurer of Queens Ob/Gyn Society.
Dr. Tsai is the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New York Presbyterian Queens. The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility provides a full spectrum of state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatments in assisted reproductive technologies. Additionally, the service provides expert care in all aspects of reproductive endocrinology and gynecology. He specializes in surgical management of pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, uterine septum and asherman syndrome. He has performed over 100 laparoscopic myomectomies per year and hysterectomies also known as “Band-aid hysterectomy and Band-aid myomectomy”. He is the first in Queens to popularize LSH, laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy. This procedure allows the preservation of the cervix when removing the uterus. The cervix may play a role in female sexual satisfaction therefore he tries not to remove it unless absolutely necessary. He is also the first to implement a staged laparoscopic/hysteroscopic myomectomy approach. For fibroids that are too large to safely remove from the uterus during a single surgery a staged procedure is performed and the rest of the myoma is removed. This technique has also been applied to uterine septums and adhesions.

Since his return to New York City, he was repeatedly one of only a handful of reproductive endocrinologists listed by the New York Times Magazine on its “Super Doctors” list.
“Dr. Gleicher was nearly 30 minutes late to our consultation, but that's not necessarily anything new when it comes to doctors' offices. I was a little surprised that he went through our entire intake questionnaire with us, despite having sent an initial report based off of it, but appreciated his thoroughness and willingness not to rush us. He spent over an hour on the consult. He also was unwilling to jump to conclusions about our diagnosis, and asked for multiple additional tests, further demonstrating his commitment to careful, individualized care. ”

THAT'S OUR FORMULA FOR ACHIEVING HIGH SUCCESS RATES
DOCTORS. Our doctors are world-renowned, "Double-Board-Certified" in OB/GYN and in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and have been practicing in the fertility field for a minimum of 25 years.
EMBRYOLOGISTS. These are the biologists that "baby-sit" your eggs and embryos. We have the most qualified and highly-skilled embryologists around because, as you may already know, your embryos can spend up to 8 days in the embryology laboratory, that is a large percentage of your cycle.
Most of the advances in fertility treatments over the past several years have been in the embryology laboratory including genetic testing of embryos, and vitrification technique for embryo freezing. Our embryologists are constantly keeping themselves up-to-date with the current technologies that are applicable to our patients. They are well-versed in all the current techniques and in addition, our embryologists have re-imagined the IVF laboratory techniques and procedures resulting in one-of-a-kind tools and pioneering techniques to improve our patients' chances of success.
SMART IVF TECH. We use unique techniques and procedures in our embryology laboratory, most of which we developed ourselves, which we believe can improve your chances of conception. Each technique may only result in tiny, insignificant (statistically speaking) improvement - but together, they can add up to making the difference for your cycle to be successful or a failure. Find out how these "small baby steps" add up to make your dream come true.
Come take advantage of all the latest technologies available that can help improve the outcome of your fertility care. Latest equipment in the culture of your embryos are available and so are the most recent techniques in processing, of gametes and embryos that are designed to eliminate or decrease the stress that your eggs and embryos undergo in order to maximize the chances of them implanting and resulting into a healthy baby.
SUCCESS RATES. Our rates are higher, 57.5% for patients under 35 years old, than the national average rate of 40.5%.We believe it to be mainly because we pay very close attention to every detail of your treatment and we employ every technique we have learned and also those we developed ourselves that can improve your chances of going home with a baby
CENTRALLY LOCATED. We are located right in the middle of Manhattan, New York City, at the beautiful Rockefeller Center area. Convenient access via buses, subways, cabs, and cars.
Maureen Moomjy, MD, FACOG, located in the Upper East Side, near Midtown, New York City, has been providing specialized, comprehensive, and compassionate care in fertility, gynecology, and reproductive medicine for over 20 years. She offers patients fertility services including ovulation induction and timed intrauterine insemination (IUI) and, in collaboration with NYU Fertility Center, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Egg Freezing, Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD/PGS/PGT) and Donor Egg IVF.
Additionally, she routinely performs gynecologic and reproductive surgery and guides patients through hormonal evaluation and treatment options.
Dr. Moomjy completed her residency in OB-GYN at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and her fellowship in Reproductive Medicine And Infertility at New York Hospital-Cornell Weill. She received her MD cum laude with distinction in research from the State University of New York, Brooklyn, and her Master’s Degree from NYU in Developmental Disabilities.
Dr. Moomjy has been in private practice in New York City since 2000, originally with Madison Women's Health and Fertility, a full-service gynecology, infertility, and reproductive endocrinology practice, and currently with Maureen Moomjy PC, a very private, attentive, and specialized fertility and gynecology practice. Prior to private practice, Dr. Moomjy served as an attending physician with the Cornell IVF Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility where she performed egg retrievals, embryo transfers, gynecologic and reproductive surgery, and expanded the center’s donor egg IVF program.
She maintains operating privileges at New York Presbyterian Cornell-Weill and routinely provides operative hysteroscopy for the treatment of polyps, fibroids, septum, and adhesions; and operative laparoscopy as needed for the treatment of tubal disease. Dr. Moomjy has been committed to providing access to fertility and reproductive services to all women and has supervised fertility care to patients from underserved communities for 20 years.
Dr. Moomjy recognizes that fertility and hormonal abnormalities cause substantial stress for patients who often consult multiple physicians in search of treatment. Yet, her philosophy is that a successful outcome is usually achievable with dedication, perseverance, and medical expertise.
Being a member of the NYU Fertility Center team has permitted Dr. Moomjy to provide thorough medical preparations for IVF, Donor Egg, and Egg Freezing, while all patients receive embryology services with a Center that has been on the forefront of reproductive technologies for the past 2 decades.
