Dr. Naim graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2004. He then completed his residency at the UCLA-VA combined Internal Medicine residency program. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the same institution. He continued his medical training by completing a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Ashkan Naraghi, MD, FCCP, is a specialist in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at The Beverly Hills Lung and Sleep Institute in Beverly Hills, California.
Dr. Naraghi received his Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA with a major in Neuroscience in 2000 and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2004. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He stayed at Cedars-Sinai and completed a combined fellowship program in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
Dr. Naraghi is an active member of the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai, where he is an assistant professor of clinical medicine. He is involved in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. He was recently appointed clinical chief of the division of pulmonary medicine and will begin his term in 2021.
Dr. Naraghi is a well rounded pulmonologist with experience in all aspects of pulmonary and critical care medicine. His areas of interest include the work up and management of cough, shortness of breath, interstitial lung disease, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, COPD, lung cancer, lung transplantation, bronchiectasis and respiratory failure.

Dr. Maged Tanios serves as the Regional Medical Director of Sound Physicians and is the current director of the ICU and Intensivists Program at Long Beach Medical Center. Dr. Tanios is a Board-Certified physician who specializes in pulmonary medicine, critical care, and sleep medicine. At Southern California Pulmonologists and Intensivists Network of Sound Physicians, the doctor and his staff serve the residents of Long Beach, California, and many neighboring communities. Dr. Tanios has been practicing medicine in Southern California for almost 15 years. He is a pillar in the local medical community and serves on many hospital boards and committees in the Long Beach area.
After completing his internal medicine residency, Dr. Tanios went on to complete several fellowships including three at Tufts-New England Medical Center in sleep medicine, critical care medicine, and pulmonary medicine. In addition to earning his medical degree, Dr. Tanios earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Services Management & Policy from Tufts University School of Medicine and is completing an MBA in Healthcare Management at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
Dr. Tanios is also an accomplished associate professor of medicine at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Tanios received the Golden Apple Award for Teaching excellence from the Family Medicine program at Long Beach Medical Center and the Munzer Family Award for Research and Literary accomplishment from the Memorial Medical Center Foundation.
Dr. Tanios has received numerous achievements and awards for his work. He has been recognized by the American Lung Association and has also applied for and received grants from the National Institutes of Health. Most recently, Dr. Tanios was selected to the 2016 registry of “America’s Best Physicians.” He has also been listed on Southern California Super Doctors for the consecutive years of 2016-2021.

Daniel Norman, MD, is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, and is the Medical Director at Santa Monica Sleep Disorders Center. He provides treatment options for a wide variety of conditions including snoring, insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, parasomnias, and more.
Dr. Norman is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in neuroscience and graduated summa cum laude. From there, he attended University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, where he was again recognized for his academic excellence with an Alpha Omega Alpha distinction and acceptance to the National Dean's List. He then completed residency training in Internal Medicine, and a dedicated fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Harvard, and a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at UC San Diego.
Through his studies, Dr. Norman came to understand the impact sleep had on a person’s health, and developed an interest in the effective treatment of sleep disorders. Dr. Norman has been on the forefront of sleep medicine, as a principal investigator in numerous research studies, a lecturer at UCLA and at various national meetings, and an author of over 20 abstracts, book chapters, and scientific articles in peer reviewed journals.
