Dr. Kaushansky earned his Doctorate of Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his predoctoral internship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s in New York City, subsequently followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Prior to founding Kaushansky Psychology, Dr. Kaushansky worked as a Staff Psychologist with Los Angeles County Mental Health, providing diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, and individual outpatient therapy to adults with complex psychological presentations, including acute and chronic medical illnesses, addiction, chronic trauma, and personality disorders.
