Shanalein Cruz, LMHC, is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Shanalein works virtually. Lena Najjarian, PA-C, is a certified physician associate at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York. Lena earned her Bachelor of Science at CUNY York College. She then went on to earn her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Tuoro College. Lena’s approach to psychiatric care is collaborating with her patients to determine the most effective treatment options through medication and psychotherapy. She believes the most important part of patient care is patience, building trust, listening to understand, being empathetic, and great communication. Lena treats patients with depressive disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. She enjoys watching as symptoms improve and seeing her patients blossom.
The most fulfilling part of her job is when her patients find peace and happiness within themselves. Outside of her practice, Lena is happiest working on interior design, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She is hoping to make it to Bali soon.
Cheryl Gould, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York.
Dr. Gould received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix before earning her Master of Science in Nursing, PMHNP from Rutgers University. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University. Dr. Gould has been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2003. She is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Dr. Gould has worked with diverse populations and in a variety of settings during her career. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has experience treating patients from age 18 to 80+. She treats adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted, and their dog, Lulu. She also enjoys travel, photography, mixed media art, cooking, and reading.

Amelia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Connecticut and worked as as a registered nurse for five years. She then pursued her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at New York University, further honing her expertise in psychiatric-mental health care.
Outside of her professional work, Amelia enjoys teaching Pilates, experimenting with new vegetarian recipes, and spending time with her cat, Kimchi.
Erica Gettenberg, MD, is the Medical Director at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York.
Erica is board certified in Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She helps patients deal with the transition from high school to college, the social and academic stresses of college, and the challenges of early career development.
Erica attended medical school at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons before completing her psychiatry residency at UCLA. She then completed her fellowship training through the Columbia University and Weill Cornell Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program.
Erica has expertise in mood, anxiety, relationship issues, and ADHD. She has developed a new model for digital mental health treatment that integrates individual psychotherapy and medication management and includes families in the treatment process.

Gene is a Teaching Faculty at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York. He is a Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Executive Director of The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is Director of the Elizabeth Thatcher Acampora Endowment, an outreach program to meet the needs of underserved youth and families in community settings. He has served as a leader of national organizations and has won teaching awards, including the Vestermark Award for Outstanding Teaching by the American Psychiatric Association.
Megan is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has worked in the mental health field since 2014 and has a wide array of experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She focuses on providing a compassionate and collaborative environment to customize a treatment plan unique to the individual that includes both evidence-based psychopharmacology and supportive therapies. Megan helps adults struggling with a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. She is also particularly interested in women’s mental health.
Megan completed her undergraduate degrees at University of Colorado and Denver College of Nursing. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University.
Megan Bolger, LSW, is a therapist at Rappore who offers clients a holistic approach to support their well-being and healing journeys. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and expressive arts therapy. She incorporates these techniques flexibly to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client, promoting self-awareness, emotional regulation, coping skills, and personal growth. Megan believes that each person’s journey is unique, and therapy should be tailored to their individual needs. She provides a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. By fostering a therapeutic alliance based on trust and collaboration, Megan strives to empower her clients to take an active role in their healing process. In her time away from work, Megan enjoys deepening her yoga practice as a 200hr YTT, singing her heart out to further explore the healing powers of music, and spending quality time with her dog, Django, who is her therapy sidekick!
Megan earned her Bachelors degree in English Education from Montclair State University in 2013. From one helping profession to the next, she discovered mental health work as her calling while working in a residential treatment center for teen girls in the foster care system in 2014. She earned her Masters in Social Work in 2018 and has been growing in the field since. Megan’s work with clients has always focused on creativity, authenticity, and healing. Paroma Mitra MD MPH has completed her adult Psychiatry training at Harlem Hospital Center, Columbia University Medical Center. She also trained at NYU Langone School of Medicine in Geriatric Psychiatry and Public Sector Psychiatry. She is board certified in both Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry. She has numerous awards in teaching and training and has presented her work in clinical research both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Mitra does not believe that one treatment fits all. She believes in a compassionate approach and strongly emphasizes on holistic well being. She works on both medications using a therapeutic person-centered approach with care. Her understanding of Eastern philosophy and well being is a part of how she views every person's concerns. Her approach is uniquely tailored to each and every individual.
Aaron Savedoff, M.D., is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry in the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, and has a wide variety of experience practicing in many different areas of psychiatry. In addition to private practice, he works as a supervising psychiatrist in the Emergency Department at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside hospitals.
Dr. Savedoff has been a staff psychiatrist at John Jay College and Fordham University. He has been a teaching attending at the Zirinsky Center at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, a research center for Bipolar Disorder. He has also been a staff psychiatrist at the Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai.
Dr. Savedoff has ample experience in treating addiction. He has worked in the detox setting treating various types of acute withdrawal syndromes. He has also worked in the rehabilitation setting helping patients to heal from their dependencies long term.
He has expertise in treating dependencies on Alcohol, sedatives such as Benzodiazepines and Barbiturates, stimulants such as Adderall and Methamphetamine, Opioids, Cocaine, Crystal meth, Cannabis, and various other prescription and non-prescription drugs. He is certified to treat opioid addiction with Suboxone and Buprenorphine.

Rona Bernadette, MD is an Adult Psychiatrist who specializes in psychopharmacology. Her practice, located in New York City, is open for consultations and psychopharmacologic treatment of patients with psychiatric and mental illness.
