“Irene is by far one of the best health care professionals I've ever had. I was very nervous to start seeing a psychiatrist early on, but she really took the time to help placate a lot of my anxiety and set me on the right track. Her compassion and desire to help her patients are immediately apparently from the very first appointment, and I am truly glad I found her practice.”
Welcome!
I am Wendy Carlson and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience.
My nursing philosophy has remained the same over the last 20 years: Every client receives the same level of care equal to what is expected for a member of my own family. Together, we will work as a team to develop a treatment plan achieving positive outcomes based on evidence based practice standards.
I am an outside of the box thinker. When others have given up, I will not. I am currently accepting new clients of all ages seeking initial diagnostic evaluations, and medication management. I look forward to meeting you.
“Wendy is the most caring person I've ever met. She has made my life worth living, when I was ready to give up. Now I have hope and enjoy what I have.i feel so much better every day, due to her guidance, and my primary dr.s visits. I'm so grateful. My glass is half full now. Due them!”

“I've been with Mark Zimmerman for a very long time (decades), and I think with my greater maturity it has become a lot more fun! Maybe I should also credit him with some of my improvement!a”
