Dr. Oms is board certified in General Psychiatry and has 13 years of experience in the treatment of mental illness. She has served as the Vice Chair of Psychiatry at West Palm Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL. She also has previous experience as the Inpatient Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at the Citrus Health Network in Miami, FL. and the Womens Psychiatric Unit at Baptist Health Center in Pensacola, FL. Dr. Oms earned her Medical Doctorate at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. She then completed both General Psychiatry residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training at Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami in Miami, FL. He has over 16 years of experience in the treatment of mental illness and conditions at various stages of intensity and treatment options. Dr. Cohen has previous experience providing psychiatric care for the Hanley Hazelton Center in West Palm Beach, FL. He has also provided addictions services in Miami, FL.  He completed his internship and residency in South Miami, Florida. He has worked both with inpatient stabilization as well as outpatient level of care to best fit the needs of the patient. Dr. Cohen earned his Doctor of Osteopathy at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL completing his degree within the top 10% of his graduating class and Dean's List. During psychiatry residency at Wake Forest University I had to write a personal statement to apply for a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. It had to be good and truthful. Thinking about my experience with children in Argentina where I went to medical school while working for a church as a tutor for poor children. In USA as I re-validated the Medical Doctor degree working as a Physician Assistant for two pediatricians, and having four children of my own, concluded "I probably didn't give them much but I gave them my best to help them through parts of this journey called life", and "I received a lot in return that made me today almost as resilient as they were". Fast forward, looking back into more recent years and working mostly with adult patients now, I feel the same. My patients are not clients with better or worse insurance, but people like me, going through this journey called life where my mission is to help them go through forks, bumps, and traps as I do with God's help

Dr. Trevor D. Barton, DO is a board-certified neurologist with advanced fellowship training in vascular neurology. Dr. Barton earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University's Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his time there, he was selected for the prestigious Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) Fellowship, where he gained additional clinical and academic training in osteopathic manipulative medicine and holistic patient care.

Following medical school, Dr. Barton completed his neurology residency at HCA HealthONE Swedish Medical Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the same institution, focusing on acute stroke care, stroke prevention, and advanced neuroimaging.
With board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Barton is dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with stroke, epilepsy, migraines, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological disorders.

Dr. Pawar is double board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology with an interest in hyperacute management of stroke and establishing systems of care. He received his medical degree at B.J. Ivan Mikolaenko, MD, is a neurologist who completed medical school in Ukraine. He was a post-doctoral Fellow in Neurology at John’s Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. He finished his neurology residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Following that, he completed a Neuro Critical Care Fellowship, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dr. Mikolaenko is well versed in EMG NCS as well as reading EEG’s. He’s an experienced and diligent physician who’s proficient in many neurological disorders.

He has practiced for many years in New York and looks forward to serving the South Florida community.

Menachem Nagar, MD, is a neurologist with specialized training in vascular neurology. He works closely with patients at The Neurology Institute in Coral Springs and Sunrise, Florida.  Dr. Nagar is fluent in English, Yiddish and Arabic.

Dr. Nagar completed medical school at the Technion Faculty of Medicine in Israel and his neurology training – including residency and fellowship in vascular neurology – at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
