Mary Ann McDonnell, RN, MS, CS, PMHNP, is licensed as a child and adolescent clinical nurse specialist and a family psychiatric nurse practitioner and has a PhD in Philosophy. She obtained her Associates of Science in Nursing Degree at Quincy College, her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree, Masters of Science in Nursing Degree, and her PhD in Philosophy at Northeastern University in Boston. Dr. McDonnell is a professor of psychobiology & psychopharmacology in the graduate nursing program at Northeastern University, and she specializes in the medication management of children, adolescents and adults with various psychiatric disorders.

I have been practicing as a nurse practitioner, in several settings, for 5 years.
