Dr. Shawn Shekar earned his medical degree from the Trinity School of Medicine in St. Vincent and Grenadines.
He is currently completing his Psychiatric residency at Broward Health Imperial Point and Broward Health Medical Center.

Dr. Ventre completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Science from the University of Puerto Rico and continued his medical studies at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Santo Domingo and completed residencies at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Cabrini Medical Center for Internal Medicine and Psychiatry and completed his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Florida Psychiatry Program.
My core approach to care begins with the unique story each patient needs to tell. When you arrive there is a comfortable waiting room with plants and music playing. Treatment with me is based on a collaborative effort between me and my patients. I begin each relationship with a comprehensive two hour psychiatric evaluation, that includes a full medical history as well. I also focus on the importance of nutrition and healthy eating during that evaluation. At the end of the consultation, there is open discussion about treatment options. If a patient has an existing therapist, a release form is signed so there can be ongoing confidential communication between providers. At all times patient confidentiality is held sacred and absolutely necessary for successful treatment. During my time in practice I have always been a staunch advocate for my patients, particularly in the area of insurance denials. I am equally passionate about patient education.

Dr. Hall completed a residency in General Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University and in Geriatric Psychiatry at Yale Medical School. She has researched and presented in professional symposia on various topics, notably on special problems of Hispanic and Spanish speaking elders, dementia, and “yelling out” behaviors in geriatric patients. Dr. Hall has both correctional and educational experience as a Psychiatrist for the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque NM and as an Asst. Following completion of his residencies, Dr. Pawar completed Fellowships in Vascular Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania, Endovascular Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, and Advanced Vascular Neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is coming to us from Duke University Medical Center where he served as Stroke Medical Director. He is widely published. He has varied interests and has participated in multiple clinical trials.
