Regina began her education at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics in 2006. Six years later, she decided to change her career focus and returned to college to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Stony Brook University School of Nursing in New York, where she graduated with honors and achieved the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar award.
Next, she specialized her nursing education with a master’s degree in psychiatric mental health advanced practice nursing at the Columbia University School of Nursing in New York City.
Regina began her nursing career in medical oncology, where she managed care for severely ill patients in a 30-bed medical oncology unit for two years. She then gained valuable psychiatric care experience working in an adult inpatient psychiatric unit, treating people with substance use disorders, schizophrenia, and anxiety and panic disorders before moving into psychiatric nurse practitioner roles.
Regina is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Nancy Tice D.O is a psychiatrist who draws from both traditional and alternative medicine to treat patients. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri and went on to obtain her medical degree from The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tice completed her psychiatric training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. After years of practicing traditional psychiatry, she went on to study traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the NY College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY. Paroma Mitra MD MPH has completed her adult Psychiatry training at Harlem Hospital Center, Columbia University Medical Center. She also trained at NYU Langone School of Medicine in Geriatric Psychiatry and Public Sector Psychiatry. She is board certified in both Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry. She has numerous awards in teaching and training and has presented her work in clinical research both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Mitra does not believe that one treatment fits all. She believes in a compassionate approach and strongly emphasizes on holistic well being. She works on both medications using a therapeutic person-centered approach with care. Her understanding of Eastern philosophy and well being is a part of how she views every person's concerns. Her approach is uniquely tailored to each and every individual.
