Vaden Danielson has been a Physician Assistant for over 25 years. She attended Oklahoma Christian University for her undergraduate degree in Biology and then attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center for her degree as a Physician Assistant. She is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants. Prior to psychiatry Vaden worked in surgery. Her favorite surgical specialty was her time spent in Neurosurgery. She has found her background in Neurosurgery to be of great benefit in treating psychiatric patients. She has worked in child/adolescent and adult psychiatry since 2015.
Vaden enjoys time with her children and family. She has always said her children are her heart. She even homeschooled them for a period of time. She is a published author and wrote “Fighting Dragons in Heels” to help women going through divorce. She enjoys finding ways to empower others. As well, she enjoys all genres of music, playing the piano and competing in ballroom dancing.

I have a passion for wellness promotion and enjoy working with new technologies, clinical care and research. After graduating from medical school and residency I worked in Neurology for 23 years. I am currently working in clinical research ,behavioral neurology , pain,dementia, clinical neurophysiology and addiction . I am the director of a outpatient substance use disorder clinic and memory diagnostic center.
