Dr. Matsuki is a board-certified psychiatrist trained in both medication management and psychotherapy to treat a wide variety of psychiatric disorders. Prior to pursuing a career in psychiatry and psychotherapy in the U.S., Dr. Matsuki also had formal training and extensive clinical experience in primary care medicine in Japan.

Lena Najjarian, PA-C, is a certified physician associate at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York. Lena earned her Bachelor of Science at CUNY York College. She then went on to earn her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Tuoro College. Lena’s approach to psychiatric care is collaborating with her patients to determine the most effective treatment options through medication and psychotherapy. She believes the most important part of patient care is patience, building trust, listening to understand, being empathetic, and great communication. Dr. Gould received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix before earning her Master of Science in Nursing, PMHNP from Rutgers University. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University. Dr. Gould has been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2003. She is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

Gene is a Teaching Faculty at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York. He is a Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Executive Director of The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is Director of the Elizabeth Thatcher Acampora Endowment, an outreach program to meet the needs of underserved youth and families in community settings. He has served as a leader of national organizations and has won teaching awards, including the Vestermark Award for Outstanding Teaching by the American Psychiatric Association.
Aaron Savedoff, M.D., is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry in the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, and has a wide variety of experience practicing in many different areas of psychiatry. My Journey Into Psychiatry
My medical journey from India to New York has deeply influenced me. I graduated from medical school in India with the Highest Honors before moving to the United States and completing my psychiatry residency in New York. Experiencing Western and Eastern views on health and wellness has influenced my perspective on the intricate interplay between the mind and body in achieving and maintaining mental wellness.
My life experiences have allowed me to bring new and ancient world traditions, including Eastern cultural values, to my patient-care approach. Having a broad view of the world and humankind bolsters psychological betterment.
I believe in treating not just the symptom(s) but each individual as a whole. Every individual is multifaceted, and healing emerges when we address not just the mental but also the physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental dimensions of their being.
In addition to clinical work, I have dedicated myself to conducting free health check-up camps for South Asian families, raising awareness about general health and mental well-being. This experience has deepened my understanding of cultural nuances impacting mental health and shaped my perspective on my work.

Whether spending time with loved ones or working with patients in my practice, I bring a positive and energetic attitude to everything I do. In my free time, I enjoy getting lost in books about stoic philosophy, Greek and Roman schools of thought, the teachings of Freud, Jung, and Beck, and books on anthropology and spiritual teachings. I love to travel and am learning to play the guitar. I am an earlier riser and incorporate meditation and exercise into my morning routine.
I’m painfully aware that I’m not a great cook, but my passion for eating hopefully makes up for any talents I lack in the kitchen!
