Six years later, she decided to change her career focus and returned to college to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Stony Brook University School of Nursing in New York, where she graduated with honors and achieved the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar award.
Next, she specialized her nursing education with a master’s degree in psychiatric mental health advanced practice nursing at the Columbia University School of Nursing in New York City.
Regina began her nursing career in medical oncology, where she managed care for severely ill patients in a 30-bed medical oncology unit for two years. She then gained valuable psychiatric care experience working in an adult inpatient psychiatric unit, treating people with substance use disorders, schizophrenia, and anxiety and panic disorders before moving into psychiatric nurse practitioner roles.
Regina is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Nancy Tice D.O is a psychiatrist who draws from both traditional and alternative medicine to treat patients.
