Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Post Master of Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Southeast Louisiana University. She brings a passion for providing holistic wellness through evidence-based integrative care, believing the focus should be individualized, patient-centered, and personalized to the client's needs through actively involving the patient in the treatment plan.

I am a graduate of Tulane Medical School where I completed a psychiatric residency and a Child and Adolescent Fellowship. Several years of teaching children have inspired me to focus on children’s mental health. I am a native of New Orleans.
I completed my residency in psychiatry at Louisiana State University, before which I practiced as a physician and cardiologist for more than 20 years. I am a board-certified psychiatrist with experience with adult mental health, geriatric patients, and substance related issues. I have served as a Director of Psychiatry at St. Tammany Parish Sherrif's Office, Lakeview Hospital Geriatric Unit, and Northlake Behavioral Hospital. I am passionate about helping substance related challenges, including opioids and alcohol dependency.
