Patients are treated with evidence based techniques to help with their current issues ranging from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders and/or addiction.
The initial session will involve a psychiatric evaluation to help guide your treatment and over time your treatment plan may be changed. Subsequent visits will be shorter than the initial visit and will be more problem-focused. A therapeutic approach is always used to treat patients along with the least evasive approach possible. Some patients may need to be on medications at times or need to be referred out. These options will be discussed with each client during either the initial visit or a subsequent visit.

She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing with a minor in Educational Psychology and a minor in Harp Performance from Ball State University. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, Generalist tract, which focuses on the entire lifespan. She has a professional background in Nursing Education as well as in Clinical Psychiatry.
