He then completed a Post Masters Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky, followed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice (in progress).
Many psychiatric practices provide only medication prescriptions, but Lifespan Psychiatry & Wellness Center offers patient-centered, complete care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy.
Taking an evidence-based and comprehensive approach to care, Richard leads with medication management and provides combined support therapy. He specializes in assisting patients with different mental disorders, including anxiety, ADHD, Autism, eating disorders, depression, PTSD, Schizophrenia, and Alzheimer’s.
He can also collaborate with psychiatrists and treatment teams and refer patients to other disciplines when needed.
Richard typically sees patients later in the afternoon and early evening, around 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. He warmly welcomes all patients to the Lifespan Psychiatry & Wellness Center and looks forward to caring for them across their lifespan.

Prior to completing her master’s degree in physician assistant studies, Cynthia graduated from University of Houston with an undergraduate degree in Health Promotion. Ajinder Dhatt, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist at CyFair Psychiatry in Houston, Texas. Priti Palvadi, MD, is a neurologist at Houston Neurological Institute in Pasadena and Pearland, Texas.
