Ananya Sreepathi, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with years of experience, practicing at Healthy Mind Psychiatry located in Valencia, California. His mission is to provide holistic, integrative care to individuals living in Santa Clarita and throughout Los Angeles County.
Dr. Sreepathi grew up in nearby Granada Hills, and he feels privileged to serve his hometown. He attended UC Santa Barbara before earning his Doctor of Medicine at St. George's University. During medical school, he developed a love of behavioral sciences and the link between biology, neurochemistry, and behavior. He then completed an exceptional residency program at New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, New Jersey. There, he learned to evaluate and treat nearly every psychiatric condition, as the hospital is a hub for mental health treatment.
In June 2020, Dr. Sreepathi returned home to Southern California, recognizing that there is a great need for more mental health treatment in the community as many people go through life untreated due to a lack of access to care. His goal in starting Healthy Mind Psychiatry is to make mental health care more accessible to people in the community and help them lead happier lives as a result.
What makes Dr. Sreepathi unique is that he utilizes a multidisciplinary approach when treating each patient. He considers a multitude of variables and tailors treatment accordingly.
While Dr. Sreepathi does have some particular areas of interest, there is nothing under the umbrella of mental health that he feels uncomfortable treating.
