She is a foreign Medical Doctor who graduated in Cuba from the University of Medicine of Havana, “Calixto Garcia.” She has more than eight years of experience in the medical field.

Madeleine was born and raised in Miami Beach and received her undergraduate degree in history from the university of Florida with a concentration in holocaust studies. She spent her practicum year working with schizophrenic and substance abuse clients and has since then been working with adolescents and young adults suffering from anxiety, depression, OCD and more. Dr. Cohen is board certified and Diplomate in General Adult Psychiatry. He has over 16 years of experience in the treatment of mental illness and conditions at various stages of intensity and treatment options. Dr. Cohen has previous experience providing psychiatric care for the Hanley Hazelton Center in West Palm Beach, FL. He has also provided addictions services in Miami, FL. I attended UMDNJ, New Jersey Medical School where I received my medical degree, completed residency training in General Psychiatry, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. After graduating, I decided to stay within the same organization working as one of the head psychiatrists for a Partial Hospitalization Program. Aside from treating adults and adolescents I also have experience working with young children who benefited from treatment within a Therapeutic Learning Center.
As I continued to expand my horizons within the field of Psychiatry, my family and I decided to relocate to the Sunshine state. Since my relocation, I have been working within the private sector with children, adolescents, and adult patients.
