He received his training in psychiatry and psychoneuroimmunology at UCSD. In addition, he has trained as a medical acupuncturist, herbalist and homeopathic physician. Last but not least, he has specialized training in Gero-psychaitry, Correctional psychiatry, Inpatient psychiatry and mood and psychotic disorders.
