Dr. Amir Etesam, MD, is a Johns Hopkins-trained Psychiatrist at Bright Horizons Psychiatry in North Bethesda, Maryland.

Ms. Antwi has over 7 years’ experience in nursing that include medical surgical, correctional and psychiatric/mental health nursing. Her psychiatric experience includes providing services in psychiatric emergency rooms, inpatient populations and with incarcerated individuals. This work has helped her to develop her perspective on the challenges individual face, and how she can best engage patients/ clients in wellness care. Ms. Antwi attended the University of Rhode Island where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later attended Walden University for her Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her goal is to encourage each patient to take care of their mental health by discussing it in a way that eliminates the stigma attached to seeking help. She provided comprehensive assessments of all members within the family, applied the appropriate interventions as needed, and utilized literation to provide evidence-based care.
Later in 2019, she achieved her Master's in Nursing Science, PMHNP-BC, at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Tachi is Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified and licensed as a Registered Nurse both in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is licensed to prescribe in Maryland with MAT waiver.
