Dr. Stephanie Binter is licensed clinical psychologist. She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and a certification in neuropsychology. Dr. Binter conducts a variety of neurological and psychological testing, including forensic assessments and general mental health assessments to aid in the differential diagnosis. I have a particular interest in treating mood disorders, including treatment-resistant depression, depression with psychotic features, bipolar disorder, and depression in the elderly. At McLean Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center, I offer neuromodulation treatments, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), esketamine (Spravato), and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), for treatment of depression and other psychiatric conditions. I completed my medical school and psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan, followed by a geriatric psychiatry fellowship at UCLA. I was previously the director of neuromodulation at the Philadelphia VA and an inpatient psychiatrist at the Palo Alto VA, as well as a clinical assistant professor at Stanford University.
