Seher Shaikh PA-C developed a love for medicine early in her high school career. She was raised in Central Florida where she attended the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate studies. She went to Miami Dade college for her Physician Assistant studies and completed her training in Jackson Health and Baptiste Health systems . She always had a unique interest in helping out in the community, especially in the underprivileged population.
She was heavily involved in Best Buddies which is an organization who assists children and adults with developmental disabilities. During her training, she was involved in Project SEED, a community outreach program to bring healthcare screening and follow up care to the migrant worker and their families in the Homestead area. She was also involved in Miami-Dade annual health fair, which targeted underserved, uninsured population to provide basic care and provide screenings. Kelly Averill, MD, is a compassionate and dedicated pediatric epilepsy & neurology specialist at Texas Pediatric Specialties and Family Sleep Center in the Lockhill-Selma area of San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Averill received her medical education from the University of Texas’s McGovern Medical School before pursuing a residency program in pediatric neurology.

She specializes in intractable epilepsy, and uses advanced treatments such as Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) and CBD oil to help patients find relief for their symptoms. Maria Flick is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Psychiatric/Mental Health. She has been in the medical field for more than 24 years, starting in the military as an Air Evacuation Medic, then transitioning to work as a civilian in a trauma center. Ms. Flick desired to pursue her educational goals, as well as gaining experience as a front-line health care worker, and graduated with honors as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in 2014. She has worked in the specialty areas of hematology and oncology as well as working with a large population of active-duty and retired military personnel and their dependents. More recently, she returned to Liberty University to earn a Post- Masters Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health, graduating with honors in 2021.
