Dr. Zia Khan was born in India but at a young age the family immigrated to Africa. He spent his childhood in Africa and then migrated to the US. His exposure to a multicultural and multiracial upbringing has shaped his humanistic outlook where equal treatment and opportunities for all are his core beliefs.
He learned the value of hard work and a sound education from his father. From his mother he learnt honesty and kindness. He is one of four siblings, three of whom are physicians and one a lawyer. He is a devoted father to two daughters who are being raised to become principled citizens.
Dr. Zia Khan graduated from University of Cincinnati and Louisville with advanced interventional training. Las Vegas has been his home since graduation. He has a busy practice that offers all cardiac services and treatment of complex cardiac, peripheral and venous disease. He runs a patient centered practice that emphasizes care and compassion. Almost every office-based outpatient testing for cardiology is offered. The practice now has an onsite Vascular Cath. Lab. This allows personalized care to patients with the hassles of hospitals.
Dr. Khan is a skilled teacher and has taken on numerous students and medical residents in training during their clinical rotations, receiving rave reviews and teaching accolades from medical schools and societies.
He is actively involved with the administration in the Vegas valley hospitals. He has been a medical executive committee and the chief of cardiology for several years. His active involvement has contributed to a better quality of health care delivery and improved hospital standards

He heads the Imagine Foundation. a non-profit devoted to helping people affected by tragedy beyond their control. He has raised money for flood victims, refugees and victims of persecution. He has been recognized by numerous Asian-American organizations for his tireless work for the interest of minorities in education and political awareness. He has supported and contributed to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Dr Khan and his staff are extremely caring. I have had leg vein ablations, angio of right artery, & a venogram with stent placement completed in their surgical center and the medical staff was very professional.

I have been going to Dr. Zia Khan for the past 20+ years and have experience a very professional staff, as well as one of the best cardiologist who has saved me from major surgery because of his knowledge and experience and ability to give me proper testing and proper treatment. I’m originally from California. I’ve been living in Las Vegas for the past 30 Years, I never considered flying back to California for a good cardiologist because I have one of the best right here
My appointment was on Halloween and the office staff were all dressed up for the occasion. It was an uplifting and smile providing experience. I had filled out documents to complete for my appointment, but there were newer documents I was provided when I was at the office. I explained about the Afib indications on my Fitbit, twice in less than a year. My own doctor sent me to the ER to have tests run, but all were normal. ER Dr released me and told me to see a cardiologist, and Dr Kahn was my choice. He was able to see me within a few days. Dr Kahn came in shortly after I was put in the exam room. Listened to what I said, asked questions and listened to my answers, then came up with a course of action to proceed. First Echocardiogram and other heart tests. Next visit for being

Dr Khan is always well informed of my heart’s condition. He monitors my Afib By doing all kinds of test to detect if it’s still active or not. Right now, no episode and is under control by my medication. Dr Khan is one of the best Cardiologist in the Las Vegas area.
