No one ever likes the words "root canal," especially since I've had almost perfect teeth my entire life. But Dr. Zia made the entire event tolerable, and far better than my initial thoughts. He's patient, he communicates well, he Show morekeeps you at ease and he takes the time to do it correctly. His staff is also very good and their interaction with him helped put me feel like I was in good hands. I highly recommend his practice.
Dr. Zia Ahmadzada completed his undergraduate education at the University of New York at Albany in 1997. He then went on to receive, in 2002, a doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the oldest dental schools in the United States. As the second largest dental school in America, with a class size of approximately 190 students each, it has an excellent reputation, and it is renowned as a center for academic and clinical excellence. While at Tufts, Dr. Ahmadzada was recognized for attaining the Dean’s list for outstanding achievement and high performance on the National Board of Dentistry. He was also awarded an Endowed Prize Award for Ethics. Dr. Ahmadzada has been practicing general dentistry in Northern Virginia for 14 years and is dedicated to ensuring his patients receive the best possible care. His goal (and that of his team) is to provide comprehensive dental care for the whole family. His experience includes preventative and cosmetic dentistry, such as porcelain veneers, bonding, and tooth-colored fillings; endodontic procedures, such as root canals; and restorative dentistry, such as crowns and bridges. Dr. Ahmadzada is also a certified Invisalign® provider, providing quality tooth correction. In 2013, Dr. Ahmadzada was also voted one of America’s “Top Dentists.” To provide the best dental care possible, he spends a great deal of time in staying up-to-date on the latest advancements and technology. He is an active member of the Virginia Dental Association.
