Dr Vasquez is the pulmonologist I met by chance but one I will retain. I met him in Mercy Hospital in 2018 and he was very understanding and thorough I can see he is like this with his patients, which is something I liked. He foShow morellowed up with me and expressed interest in what the other doctors in Mayo Clinic said and I valued his interest in my health even outside of the clinical setting. I liked him so much that I followed him from Mercy to Broward - I don’t hesitate to give Dr Vasquez my highest recommendation and a five star rating.
The gentleman who conducted the breathing test that I did yesterday was extremely patient with me and was extremely kind and friendly. The staff who help me in the front make my appointment also did assist me with other things I nShow moreeeded to take care of and were patient and kind they made my experience, extremely wonderful
Zael Vazquez, MD, is board-certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease, and internal medicine. He is proud to provide state-of-the-art medical care to the North and West Broward communities at Pulmonary Care Clinics in Cooper City, Florida.
Dr. Vazquez completed a residency in internal medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he received special training in the management of patients with complex pulmonary problems such as pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung diseases, and COPD.
He went on to pursue an advanced fellowship in thoracic transplantation at Temple University. He currently serves as the Chief of Pulmonary Medicine at Memorial Hospital Pembroke and Chief of Respiratory Services at Select Specialty Hospital.
He prides himself on providing excellent patient care in a compassionate, competent, confident, and communicative manner. Dr. Vazquez is fluent in the Spanish language. He enjoys cycling, physical fitness, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
