I was in absolute pain with my shoulder! I was stressing out because in exactly one week I had to have 2 outpatient surgical procedures and knew I would be in no form to withstand sitting or laying in any position with out some kiShow morend of support or anesthesia. I called Dr Perlman and his girls in the office did everything to get me in the next day so the doctor could evaluate me and help me. Dr Perlman was a God send! I can't imagine the pain I would be in had he not taken the time to help!
Dr. Perlman and his entire staff are extremely caring. From my first phone call to them they expressed concern and got me in for my visits ASAP. Every one is courteous and extremely kind. Dr. Perlman was comforting, and truly conShow morecerned that my pain be addressed. He always thought things through, as I have a very extensive medical history. He is willing to think outside the box to help me. My first treatment took a little longer than I expected, but when it kicked in..it was like a miracle!
Zachary Perlman, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine and primary care sports medicine specialist in Little Silver, New Jersey. At Kai Sports Medicine, Dr. Perlman provides care for athletes and the general population and is particularly interested in minimally invasive orthopedic procedures, including ultrasound-guided joint injections. He is fascinated with longevity medicine and sports nutrition and also plans to obtain his certification in obesity medicine.
Dr. Perlman spent his childhood in Toms River, New Jersey, near the shore. He earned his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in molecular biology and biochemistry and completed medical school in South Florida at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
His residency training involved three years in internal medicine and one year in general surgery, as he was always drawn to the procedural aspects of medicine. He furthered his training with a primary care sports medicine fellowship in San Antonio, Texas, where he worked alongside the NBA San Antonio Spurs physicians.
Dr. Perlman has always been active and enjoys participating in sports himself, as he was a swimmer and a collegiate wrestler throughout his childhood and during high school. He now continues to stay active by running, snowboarding, playing golf, playing basketball, and participating in many other sports. His hobbies include yoga, meditation, and spending time with his wife and child.

Exceptional, professional n personal periwnce. I would highly recommend.
Dr. Perlman was able see my daughter right after an acute injury. He had the Xray ordered before we came in and the MRI appointment made for the next day. He was extremely helpful and was so patient in dealing with the stressful situation. Highly recommend him and his team. They are efficient, kind and knowledgeable.
The reason I gave them 5 stars was because there was no provision to leave 25 stars. The entire office was courteous, competent and professional. Dr. Perlman was absolutely the best. This was my first visit but definitely not my last. He solved a problem, gave me options and had future ideas. What a wonderful experience in this new world of ' no service, no knowledge and no caring" to find an oasis of caring people.

I went to the appointment very nervous, everyone there was so nice . The doctor was very patient with me and made me less anxious. I also thought they might be pushy and they were not at all. I would totally recommend going there.

This office is GREAT. Dr Perlman is knowledgeable, listens to your thoughts and concerns and advises on the best course of treatment. I have a chronic Lee ailing back, but was able to walk out the other day feeling better than l did when I walked in. His staff is friendly and efficient. I will certainly be back to follow Dr. Perlman’s recommended protocol.
