The reason I gave them 5 stars was because there was no provision to leave 25 stars. The entire office was courteous, competent and professional. Dr. Perlman was absolutely the best. This was my first visit but definitely not my lShow moreast. He solved a problem, gave me options and had future ideas. What a wonderful experience in this new world of ' no service, no knowledge and no caring" to find an oasis of caring people.
Zachary Perlman, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine and primary care sports medicine specialist in Little Silver, New Jersey. At Kai Sports Medicine, Dr. Perlman provides care for athletes and the general population and is particularly interested in minimally invasive orthopedic procedures, including ultrasound-guided joint injections. He is fascinated with longevity medicine and sports nutrition and also plans to obtain his certification in obesity medicine.
Dr. Perlman spent his childhood in Toms River, New Jersey, near the shore. He earned his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in molecular biology and biochemistry and completed medical school in South Florida at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
His residency training involved three years in internal medicine and one year in general surgery, as he was always drawn to the procedural aspects of medicine. He furthered his training with a primary care sports medicine fellowship in San Antonio, Texas, where he worked alongside the NBA San Antonio Spurs physicians.
Dr. Perlman has always been active and enjoys participating in sports himself, as he was a swimmer and a collegiate wrestler throughout his childhood and during high school. He now continues to stay active by running, snowboarding, playing golf, playing basketball, and participating in many other sports. His hobbies include yoga, meditation, and spending time with his wife and child.

Dr Perlman always takes time to listen to my problem and has a very solid and professional solution. He doesn't force any procedure on me but gives me options to make a decision. I love his office staff and Dr. Perlman!
Staff is great.... Dr Pearlman truly cares about what I as a patient have to say, and always finds a solution for my issues.
Dr. Pearlman listened, evaluated & spoke to me about a plan. You don't find a doctor that actually listens to your issues anymore but he does. I'm looking forward to moving along with his plan to alleviate my back and hip pain.

On my update visit, Dr Perlman thoroughly reviewed my imaging results with me. He explained everything in clear terms and gave me exercises to do at home. Under his care my condition has greatly improved and I am grateful that I was referred to him.
