I can't say enough about Albuquerque podiatrists and Dr Haas in particular. I've now had two appointments with him and I already have seen such incredible improvement for my feet. He is professional, responds to all of my questionShow mores, has thoughtful suggestions, and treats me with caring and respect. I marvel at the improvement that allows me to walk with such comfort and joy. It feels good again to be putting on shoes! Increased mobility, and my feet feels comfortable almost all of the time now. It's nothing short of a minor miracle. The nurses and the staff are also excellent- friendly and informative and responsive.
Dr. Zach Haas performed suegery on two toes on my right foot in August. I was on my feet in a week and back to normal activities after four weeks. I visited him yesterday for some pain in my left foot. He was able to diagnose anShow mored treat the pain. Thanks Dr. Haas!!!
Zachary Haas, DPM, is a third-generation podiatry specialist at Albuquerque Associated Podiatrists in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He holds a diplomate from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (formerly the American Board of Podiatric Surgery) and has certifications in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery.
Dr. Haas’s medical training is extensive. He attended the University of California, Davis, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology before graduating with high honors from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in San Francisco, California, in 2004.
Dr. Haas went on to complete his residency at the comprehensive San Francisco Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program. While there, he had the privilege of training under the esteemed podiatrist John Schuberth, DPM, in total ankle joint replacements. He also trained with world-renowned orthopedist Ignacio Ponseti, MD, where he focused on manipulation and casting techniques.
Dr. Haas has won recognition from his peers. His awards include the American Board of Podiatric Surgery Outstanding Professional Conduct Award and the Philip Gardner Award for Outstanding Student in Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Haas is a fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and has authored articles in peer-reviewed publications.
During his school years at the Albuquerque Academy, Dr. Haas excelled in football and baseball. Playing quarterback, he led the Chargers to an undefeated season in 1993 and a district title in 1994. Today, his love of the sport lives on in his role as head coach for the JV team at Albuquerque Academy.
When not in practice or on the field, you’ll find Dr. Haas in the great outdoors with his family, hiking, camping, and mountain biking.

Already feel relief!
Dr Haas and his staff are top rate. As a health care professional I appreciate the service I recieved from him andi the staff. I was seen promptly and was given multiple options for my foot condition. Highly recommend his office for your foot and ankle problems.
Dr Zachary Haas performed surgery on my left foot about 10 years ago, I just had my foot x-rayed and it's still looking good. At 78 I'm still able to do power walks and work out on the elliptical and stationary bike. Zach did an excellent job, I would highly recommend him.
Dr Zachary Haas has taken care of me for about 20 years. He is amazing.! I trust him totally. He is very personable. He's not afraid to shake my hand every time I see him. I wouldn't trust my care to any one else!!!
