About Dr. Pinkhasova

Yelena Pinkhasova, OD, is a highly skilled, TPA-certified optometrist who provides friendly and professional care to her patients at Great Neck Opticians in Great Neck, New York.

Dr. Pinkhasova earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University’s Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association. Her TPA (therapeutic pharmaceutical agents) certification grants her the authority to prescribe medications to further treat her patients.

Dr. Pinkhasova is deeply experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ocular pathologies, from common conditions such as dry eyes, infected eyes, and near- and farsightedness, to more complex issues like cataracts, glaucoma, and autoimmune- and diabetes-related concerns. She’s also skilled in contact lens fitting.

Dr. Pinkhasova enjoys working with patients of all ages and actually specializes in children’s vision problems. Her fluency in English, Russian, and Spanish enable her to provide personalized and compassionate care to patients of all backgrounds.
