I really don’t want Dr Kendrick Thomas leaving the practice to go to the East Coast. I’m very sad about that. He’s been a great doctor and I really appreciate him for everything has done for me. William Lian, MD, is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist at West Texas Pain Institute in El Paso, Texas. Additionally, fellowship-trained in interventional pain management, Dr. Lian became a PM&R physician because he genuinely enjoys helping patients improve their function and quality of life.
Dr. Lian attended Texas A&M University, Commerce, for his undergraduate degree. He completed his medical degree and PM&R residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Relocating to Phoenix, Arizona, he completed additional fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians. Through his study, Dr. Lian was awarded the Kowalske Outstanding Medical Student in PM&R Award and the Highest UTSW PM&R Resident SAE Score Award.
Dr. Lian is an expert in evaluating and conservatively managing spinal, musculoskeletal, and neuropathic (nerve-related) diagnoses. He and the West Texas Pain Institute team are focused on finding the most appropriate, evidence-based, non-surgical treatment for each patient.
Dr. Lian enjoys working out, photography, and hiking with his wife, Sarah, when not treating patients.

Dr. Lian was great but he three hour wait was a too much I think shouldn't book so many ahead lobby was completely full.
Seems like they schedule too many patients per day so it's a long waiting period for everyone
We have had some problems but over all he is a good doctor! I would recommend him!

Dr Liam was quick to tell me that West TX Pain Mgmt. would not be able to see me as a patient. They are not able to take care of VA patients and they will inform the VA immediately. He also did approve my two prescriptions.

Dr. Lian is an outstanding physician. He is kind and caring. He listens and addresses any concerns you may have and does not rush you out the door. Dr William Lian is simply a God sent.
This time the wait was not to bad and the rest went smoothly but the lest time the wait was to long and I had to feast. You take too many people at once, it should be better planed.
I was very comfortable I did not feel any pain during the procedure I would highly recommend them
Dr. Lian has a wonderful bedside manner and comes with a wealth of knowledge. Dr. Lian allows me to discuss my medical concerns and we plan best course of action. He is always attentive and at the end of my visit he always allows for additional questions.
