Terry Holt, DPM, is an accomplished podiatrist serving the West Tennessee area. Through his work at Podiatry Clinic of Jackson, Dr. Holt spends his days treating patients so they can take a step in comfort. By correcting a wide range of foot ailments, he has been able to have a rewarding podiatry practice, preserving your only natural transportation... your feet.
Dr. Holt a native of Gibson County, attended Dyer High School and did his undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He began his medical studies at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. From there, he went on to refine his skill set through a surgical residency at Chicago’s St. Bernard Hospital. The experiences gained there through hands-on interactions with patients shaped Dr. Holt’s belief in providing individualized, unrushed care.
Dr. Holt achieved board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is proud of his professional affiliations with the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association, and the West Tennessee Physicians Alliance. His work has been recognized by The Jackson Sun “ Readers’ Choice Awards” which has named him “Best Podiatrist” for the past 13 years running.
At the Podiatry Clinic of Jackson, he treats the full range of podiatry issues. From simple care of corns and calluses, ingrown toenails or bunions, plantar fasciitis and tendonitis, to long-term diabetic foot care and treatment of diabetic ulcers aiding in the prevention of other problems leading to possible amputations. Dr. Holt has the expertise to deliver lasting results. Many patients feel better as they walk out the door.
When not in the office, you’ll find Dr. Holt enjoying time with his wife and grandchildren. He’s also an avowed outdoor enthusiast and makes time for duck and turkey hunting whenever possible.
