Dr Waxweiler is very pleasant person. Took care of several precancerous spots in the office. Inspected past skin surgeries. Addressed my questions. All good. I addressed my concerns with the new tablet sign-in. Totally unacceptabShow morele requests of my personal information; those questions such as my city/state of birth; has nothing to do with my dermatology concerns. Dr Waxweiler shares my concerns over the privacy issue, and said he would look into it. I, like many others, have experienced data breaches, re-issued credit cards, etc. Dark web reports with my breached personal information keeps occurring, but questions requested on the new Cleavermedicalgroup sign-in table hit new lows requesting information not yet breached for me, to my knowledge.

Dr. Waxweiler completed his undergraduate degree with honors at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, which he attended on a full scholarship. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Waxweiler worked on a medical study-abroad trip in Kikuyu, Kenya, where he developed a desire to practice medicine.
Dr. Waxweiler earned his medical degree with honors at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He studied melanoma at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Doris Duke Fellow before moving to Denver, Colorado, to complete his internship at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center. To finalize his education, Dr. Waxweiler moved to California to complete a dermatologic residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he gained extensive experience with cosmetics, pediatric dermatology, and skin cancer.
To continue learning about the latest medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology developments, Dr. Waxweiler has authored many articles in scientific journals, textbook chapters, and dermatologic symposium abstracts. He uses the knowledge gained from this valuable research to better assist his patients.
Dr. Waxweiler enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, traveling, and reading when he’s not at work.

Dr Waxweiler is the absolute best dermatologist I’ve ever visited. You can’t do any better than him.

Great service for my annual thorough check up after my previous dermatology provider was becoming less and less satisfactory.
I like Dr. Waxweiler, but during my last visit, I felt that he might have been running late, so I felt that I was kind of rushed through. He claimed to going big guns on my eczema, but ordered medication that I have been taking in the past, (from other Drs. with only minimal results). Looking forward to my next appointment and hopefully there will be a little time for a one on one conversation.

All these doctors will put you on piils, creams, or other drugs instead of looking for the root of your problem. They don't help you to find a reason for your skin condition. They will give you all kind of medication or suggest a vaccine to try without talking about the side eff⁰ects. Please avoid this place ...unless you are ok. with taking steroids and other dangerous drugs.

I have been seeing Dr. Waxweiler for a few years after he found a skin cancer on my nose. I feel confident in his professionalism and he also has a very friendly bedside manner in what could be a very uncomfortable situation with full body scans.

Very nice and friendly
The staff, nurses, and Dr. Waxweiler arevery congenial, and know exactly what they are doing. I highly recommend this practice, especially if you want a dermatologist practice that does not focus or overlook you for cosmetic purposes. They really do treat the diseases of the skin!

Dr. Waxweiler explains everything he is doing thoroughly and he followed up with me the day after the surgery. He is the best and his nurse is too!
Over the years I have seen many Doctors from Family physicians to specialists. On my only visit with Dr. Waxweiler, I must say that I am totally impressed with the attention given to the patient as well as the problems for which the appointment was made. This is my impression from a first visit. We'll have to see how my symptoms react to his treatments.
