I have had a great experience at this facility for myself in the past. This was the first visit for my son and our first visit with Dr. Hurst. He immediately made my son feel comfortable and spoke to him like a person. You could iShow moremmediately tell that Dr. Hurst has a heart for people. He even offered to help my sister, who has had several surgeries with her ankle replacement, find a provider who could help. We are happy we chose Dr. Hurst!

Prior to establishingFoot Specialists of Austin, Cedar Park, and Georgetown, Dr. Hurst practiced at a podiatry center in Central Texas, where he conducted comprehensive treatments, both surgical and nonsurgical, for foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Wayne Hurst completed his undergraduate studies at Northern Arizona University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. While he worked as an EMT, he completed his doctorate degree in podiatric medicine at the Dr. W.M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Shortly after, he completed his podiatric surgical residency in Dallas, Texas with well-respected physicians who specialize in podiatry and orthopedics. He constantly pushes himself to grow as a specialist by acquiring continuing education credits to discover the latest, safest, and most effective treatments in podiatry.

I felt like dr hurst was in a hurry. He ordered some kind of brace the insurance had to approve but didn’t really explain it’s purpose.

Everything was great except for the wait time. Staff should not over book. I waited over an hour to be called back. Patients show be called back within 5-10 minutes of their appointment Max!

This was my 1st time seeing Dr. Hurst. It was so awesome.
Wait times were a bit long, and the visits feel a bit rushed. But I was able to get help with my plantar fasciitis which is the most important thing.
Very organized and thorough
Zomg! What a rockstar experience. 1: I was Uber late because my daughters appointment was late. I’m talking like 30 minutes, and the receptionist folk still got me in. 2: After THAT! I only had to wait like 10 minutes! Lovely! 3: The nurses, totally gems. I totally was in pain for the past 6m, because I was like foot dr. Oh no. They made me feel so at ease. Sweetest folk ever. 4; Dr Hurst..I wish he was my Dr. for everything. Very caring, personable, funny, and not bad on the eyes at all. Sorry doc, had to say it. Overarching: I will be back if I have ANY issues and have already been recommending the practice. Thanks all of y’all for being great.

Consultation regarding neuroma and bunion pain on both feet. Very professional and conservative first treatment suggested, which I appreciated. Orthodics ordered. (LOVED Amy!)
Appt at 830 was not seen till 930 no excuse for that
Everything was great except the cost of the post-visit treatment. I’m paying $364 for the cream and spray to solve my toenail fungus. Since Insurance doesn’t pay anything, this is a big hit to the budget. However the staff was beyond pleasant and I’m confident I’ll have everything under control.
Dr Hurst was exceptional. He entered the room bubbly and energetic. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He had a perfect mix of humor and bedside manner. Between the jokes and light hearted banter he would throw some good info my way. He didn’t rush in/rush out like most DRs leaving you feeling like you weren’t worth their time. He and his nurse Angela asked a ton of questions and listened to what I was saying. He was quite knowledgeable in his field and after having my initial consultation he was already offering different options/strategies than my past Doctor(s). I look forward to working with Dr Hurst and his team. I 100% recommended.,
This was a truly great experience. The office staff was friendly and informative. The nurses were helpful and kind. And Dr. Hurst was amazing. He chatted while doing his work, completely putting my senior mom at ease. His care is so evident. We will continue to see Dr. Hurst and recommend him to all.
Dr.Hurst always treats me right! The scheduling of the appointment is too easy! The entire staff from the ladies up front to the Doctors that get you started are all so friendly! Never had a doctors office that you get treated like family! But this one you do! I was in and out in less than 45 min for a procedure! Thank you all
