After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Willoughby obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. From there he received his medical training in Ann Arbor, Michigan, first finishing his internal medicine internship and residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, then completing his pulmonary medicine fellowship at University Hospital, University of Michigan.

My experience with Dr. Wilby and his team at the office was really very good. The people working there are friendly and knowledgeable. The wait time wasn’t very long and I get that the doctor is concerned about my help and I don’t feel rushed very little of that is true in some other doctors offices that I have to visit

Dr Willoughby is an excellent Doctor .His staff is efficient and kind. He is on time with the appointments, answers all your questions and concerns. I would highly recommend him.
I have an injection once a month for my COPD. The young lady that has given me the injections for the past three months has been absolutely great. I never have any discomfort when she gives me those shots. She is so pleasant and friendly. Dr. Willoughby is a great doctor. In the years that I’ve been going to see him he has never once rushed me through an appointment and takes as much time as necessary to discuss everything I need to know. He is so knowledgeable, soft spoken and extremely helpful.
