This visit was to get an injection for my COPD. As usual the appointment went very quick and easy. I did have to sit there for an hour just to make sure that the injection agreed with me. There were absolutely no problems whatsoevShow moreer and I was able to leave after the hour was up. Everyone in the office was friendly and the office itself was spotless. Dr. Willoughby did come in and ask me if I had any questions about the injection and I did not.
Dr Willoughby is very knowledgeable & explain everything in details. He is listening to patient’s concerns. He ordered different test before he will see me. He is taking his time with patients.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, Dr. Willoughby obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. From there he received his medical training in Ann Arbor, Michigan, first finishing his internal medicine internship and residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, then completing his pulmonary medicine fellowship at University Hospital, University of Michigan.

I am so thankful for Dr Willoughby and staff! He always spends enough time with me to get a thorough evaluation. Shay at the front desk is amazing. She remembers everyone and everything and they schedule well in advance if there is another appointment required. Dr Willoughby has a curious mind and high intellect. He is up on the latest and still practical in his approach.
Is a wonderful Doctor
First appointment with Dr Willoughby and was an excellent visit. Staff ran pulmonary and blood test prior to meeting with the Dr. Upon meeting with Dr Willoughby, he had my CT scans uploaded on his monitor and reviewed the results of the scan as well as the prior testing his tech administered. Dr educated me on what was going on with my lungs and started treatments with medication along with a steroid. Dr also ordered another CT scan prior to our next appointment. Staff was very professional and help me understand what the tests were. Upon checking out, their tech scheduled my next appoint and demonstrated on proper use of the sample inhaler to make sure I understood how to use daily.
Dr. Willoughby and his staff are the bet. My health has improved substantially since I met Dr. Willoughby 7 years ago.
