Visvanatha Venkata Giri, MD, is a critical care, pulmonary, and sleep medicine physician at Midwest Respiratory Ltd., which has offices in Joliet and New Lenox, Illinois. He is board-certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease medicine, sleep medicine, and internal medicine. 

Dr. Giri earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Madras Medical College in Madras, India. I had never seen Dr. Giri before admission to the hospital. He is the sweetest, kindest,most knowledgeable Dr. I have ever known. He spent more than an hr. on my f/u visit, went through the pictures of my CT explaining it to me. My primary doctor has never been as thorough as Dr. Giri. His office staff is very helpful and pleasant
