About Ms. Virginia Ndoro

Virginia Ndoro, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine and geri-psychology, or senior psychiatry, at her practice, Iasis Solutions, in Framingham, Massachusetts. Her special interests include art, traveling and mental health advocacy.

Virginia began her secondary education at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2000. In 2007, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts. Finally, Virginia attended Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. There, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on family medicine and a Psychiatry Post-Graduate Certification.

Throughout her career as a nurse practitioner, Virginia has worked as an Associate Professor , a Program Leader and as an Addictions Nurse Practitioner. Most recently she worked at a stabilization unit that provides respite care for individuals with acute behavioral health or substance abuse disorders. 

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Virginia leads with openness, compassion and a willingness to embrace alternative approaches. She provides counseling, mental health diagnostic care, cognitive behavioral therapy, comprehensive treatment, and ongoing support to patients suffering from mental health disorders and trauma. In addition to various types of therapy, when appropriate, Virginia also provides integrated medication management .

Virginia is passionate about breaking down barriers to care and providing equitable, accessible, holistic mental health care to teens, adults, and older adults. She looks forward to helping you reach your psychiatric goals and enjoy a healthy, happy life.
