Vinay Sanghi, MD, is an interventional cardiologist and vascular specialist with a passion for personalized care. Through his leadership role at Heart and Vascular Associates, LLC, Dr. Sanghi has the privilege of enhancing heart health for residents in and around Sierra Vista, Arizona, and throughout Cochise County.
Education has always played an important role in Dr. Sanghi’s life. He earned his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. Upon arriving in the United States, Dr. Sanghi completed a residency at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Sanghi continued to seek additional knowledge and skills through three different fellowship programs, including a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the Lahey Clinic at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Sanghi’s professional expertise includes peripheral arterial angioplasty, complex angioplasty procedures, venous ablation, and venous laser therapy. He’s also highly experienced in implanting permanent pacemakers and defibrillators.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Sanghi is active with local residency programs and is committed to serving the community. He also enjoys sketching and exploring Cochise County on bike rides with his family.

Dr. Sanghi patiently explained everything going on with my test results. He used language I could understand and made sure I was clear on everything. As his patients go, I'm on the younger end of the spectrum. I can only imagine how kind and calming he is with his older patients. I definitely recommend Dr. Sanghi.
The office was busy, but the doctor took his time with me and didn’t seem rushed. Very detailed oriented and personable.

I have seen Dr. Sanghi since my cardiologist retired quite a few years ago. After completing my annual visit yesterday, I am pleased that he listens to my concerns and answers my questions promptly. He is conservative in my treatment taking care of any issues but does not overprescribe.
