I highly recommend Lotus Dermatology without hesitation! This was my first appointment with any dermatologist and I was quite anxious about my appointment; however; the front desk clerk greeted me with kindness and was very friendShow morely. I was treated with respect and kindness by all staff. I didn’t have any problem getting an appointment & was seen at my appointment time quickly. The waiting room is pleasant and comfortable. The website explained Mohn’s surgery in detail so I knew somewhat to expect. Dr SHAH and Dr Patel explained everything to me about what he was doing. My procedure was painless after the first injection to numb the area. All my questions were answered and I felt all staff were being very patient and kind. I had a second appointment with Dr SHAH recently. She is very knowledgeable; experienced, kind and very helpful. My follow-up appointment is scheduled for 3 weeks. No more anxiety since I know I will be treated with care and compassion. Patients can fill out the needed paperwork online before the appointment. This is helpful to me since I will not need to try to fill it out in the waiting room. My prescriptions for healing were called in to my pharmacy and ready for pickup the same day. The office calls to check how I am doing and if the topical medication is working. This is an excellent practice; showing how much this Dermatologist cares about their patients. I have no reservations and give Dr SHAH & Lotus Dermatology 10 stars. I will recommend her and her practice to anyone who needs a dermatologist! Anyone needing a dermatologist should call Lotus Dermatology for an appointment. Unlike many other medical practitioners; all receive kindness; compassion and top of the line respectful medical care! Vidhi Shah, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing general dermatology with Lotus Dermatology since 2022. She has lived in the Tampa Bay area her entire life and enjoys the opportunity to give back to her community.
Dr. Shah graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program at Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida. She then received her undergraduate and medical degree in the accelerated 6 Year Combined B.A./M.D. Program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. She also completed a one-year clinical research fellowship in medical dermatology with the Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Shah completed her dermatology residency at the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She was elected Chief Resident during her final year and routinely managed complex medical dermatology patients at Tampa General Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center, and the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.
Throughout her medical career, Dr. Shah has authored numerous publications, book chapters, and presentations. She has been awarded grants and scholarships from the Florida Society of Dermatological Surgeons, the North American Hair Society, the Women’s Dermatology Society, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Shah is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and a board member of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

Smart friendly
When I first walked in I thought I’d be there for hours. Not the case. The practice runs like a well oiled machine. Everyone was friendly and Dr. Shah was so nice and understanding!

I met Dr. Shah for the first time. I found her to be thorough and pleasant. She listened attentively and addressed my concerns. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a dermatologist.
Very nice receptionist at the desk. Easy in and out. My only complaint would be that I went there for two specific things. They addressed one completely, but the other one was disregarded. Have a birthmark on my face that I was wanting to inquire about getting removed. She was talking about a surgeon that would surgically remove it but I heard no more about it. How long would it take? When could I see the surgeon? What kind of scar would I have? How long would the procedure take? Etc., etc., etc. … It was just completely forgotten.
I was very impressed with Dr. Shah. She was very knowledgeable and informative.
