Victoria Gordon McCarthy, DO, MS is board-certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine and has additional certification in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She recently completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship training at Atlantic Sports Health in Morristown, New Jersey where she acted as the Fellow Team Physician for the New York Jets Football Team and Seton Hall Soccer and Football Teams.
As a former Varsity Field Hockey player at Yale University, she understands the vital importance of living an active lifestyle as well as the hardships of enduring an injury. She is experienced in managing non-operative orthopedic and sports-related musculoskeletal conditions. Her goal is to provide personalized and high-quality care for her patients from starting a new fitness goal to preparing for an Iron Man competition.
After graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed residency training in Family Medicine at Overlook Family Medicine in Summit, New Jersey where she earned multiple awards in research and clinical excellence. Prior to medical school, she earned a Masters in Human Nutrition at Columbia University to assist with holistic preventive care and nutrition counseling as a physician. Her sports medicine training also includes a comprehensive background in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided injections, concussion management, and stress-related injuries. As a family medicine doctor trained in sports medicine, she can offer services for all patients including annual check-ups, sick visits, and women’s health. Dr. McCarthy strives for wellness in all of her patients and looks forward to helping you reach your health and fitness goals.
