Arrived at 8:00 for 8:10 appointment. Filled out paperwork. Called in by assistant at 8:10 who reviewed why I was there. Dr. Batty came in shortly after and with relaxed manner efficiently zapped my head spots and looked at my skiShow moren blemish which had NOT changed since last seeing him. Kind but to the point we finished in probably 25 minutes. Recommend him to anyone.
They were able to get me right in to treat me. I wasn’t expecting them to be able to take care of my problem without another appointment. The doctor came in, said he could do it today without a problem, and took care of me. I was Show morevery impressed with the entire staff!
Trevor Batty, DO, is a general dermatologist at Idaho Skin Institute in Chubbuck, Idaho.
Dr. Batty grew up in Vernal, Utah, and while attending Uintah High School, he simultaneously earned an Associate’s Degree from Utah State University. Following high school, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Curitiba, Brazil. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University, he graduated medical school from Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona at the top of his class as a member of Sigma Sigma Phi.
Dr. Batty completed his dermatology residency in South Florida at Broward Health Medical Center, where he diagnosed and treated a wide variety of patients, providing him ample exposure to diverse pathology in various clinical settings. Treating inflammatory skin conditions as well as studying early detection and management of skin cancer methods are some of his interests.
He believes in treating patients like family and providing education in order to empower patients to achieve optimal outcomes. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He also speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
When he is not at work, you can find Dr. Batty playing basketball, watching BYU athletics or the Utah Jazz, grilling or cooking in the kitchen, and spending time with his wife Whitney and their three daughters.

He was very kind in taking care of my daughter, plus he listened and offered a lot of input on how to help her! She enjoyed it and said everyone was very nice and helpful!

I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. Quickly brought into the room by Mitchell. He’s Batty‘s assistant. Mitchell and Dr. Batty both listened and were careful to keep my dignity while checking me for skin cancer. I would highly recommend seeing these folks.

I have not had great results in the past but decided to try one more time. I had concerns with a rash on my back and was told it was because I sat in a leather couch and my back couldn’t breathe. What??? I don’t really feel like they care or want to take the time to care for people.

I HAD A GREAT DOCTOR, BUT A LITTLE BATTY. HEE HEE.
I checked in at the desk and was called by the MA a couple of minutes before my scheduled appointment. The Dr arrived a few minutes later. He froze several spots and took 2 biopsies. I was done and on my way in less than a half hour. I’m my opinion that’s excellent.
