Timothy Queen, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist at Advanced ENT & Allergy, serving people of all ages, living in and around Newport News, Virginia, and throughout the Hampton Roads metropolitan area.
Dr. Queen earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He subsequently completed a residency in otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Queen also completed a fellowship in otolaryngic allergy with the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Dr. Queen proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the American Rhinologic Society, the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology, and the Tidewater Otolaryngology Society.
Over the last 30 years, Dr. Queen has had the honor of caring for thousands of patients in Hampton Roads. Dr. Queen loves getting to know his patients and takes the time to understand their unique goals and concerns. Dr. Queen tells his patients that as a physician, he is part detective and part problem solver and that his ultimate goal is to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Queen looks to find the underlying medical condition, "the cause" of the patient's symptoms. Once identified, Dr. Queen provides an individualized treatment plan for each patient that results in real and lasting solutions for their acute symptoms and corrects or significantly improves their medical problems. When the cause of the medical problem is corrected, the patient's overall health improves, and so too, does their overall quality of life.

My experience was good. My questions were answered and the staff was friendly and professional.
What great staff, and Dr. Queen diagnosed, explained the issue, and successfully treated my problem - essentially, debris in my ears. After nearly two months of dealing with plugged ears, I was back to normal in less than 5 minutes. Thanks Dr. Queen (and thanks Olivia, too!).
Dr Queen listen to me and my wife as we addressed my problems fever,cough, and breathing. He ordered a scan for me. He also would like for me to restart Shots for allergies.
The service was Phenomenal, Dr Queen Listened, took his time and was Sweet & Kind & Gentle but also Professional; he asked loads of questions which I liked, figured out the situation & handled it with ease and made sure I got the proper items for my take home item... The nurse & front desk staff were calm, cool & kind 4 stars only because the wait in 2024 shouldnt be that long, there shouldnt be double booking and over 1 hr wait when an appt was made unless there was an emergency surgery or procedure being performed... Would go back again though

Dr Queen is one of the best doctors I've seen traveled of reason.. he's so knowledgeable.. understanding and experienced.. he takes the time with his patients and shows real empathy.. he listens to your concerns and explains all concerns and questing patience Patients might have. How he never retires!

Great bedside manner! Very informative through out the entire exam.
During origin consult, I wasn’t listened to and pictures taken to show Dr weren’t looked at. Explained everything quickly, like he had somewhere to be. Didn’t hear/ see him during my four rounds of testing and the follow up consult wasn’t even with him. Results were quickly read to me and not explained.
Had a long wait but that’s expected these days with a shortage of Doctors.Dr Queen is a caring and explains everything.
My appointment was very fruitful to me and I hope I can get rid of these allergies soon.

Had a very pressing need for a screening, which wasnt anything critical per say but required a specialist to look at. Called around to a whole bunch of different ENTs, got an appointment due to someone else canceling. Was seen quickly, Dr was absolutely awesome, very thorough, quick, and thoughtful. I'm very grateful for this office and their staff!
