First experience at Doctor Phelan office is with the wonderful Lady who answers the phone. From there the great experience continued at my first appointment- the Nurses are friendly & professional -always making sure I was comfoShow morertable. Dr. Phelan, a great Doctor, never felt like he was rushed, he took the time to listen to my concerns. Was professional , very easy to talk to. You don't find Doctors like Dr. Phelan anymore- most want to rush in you & rush you out!! Would recommend him to anyone who asks.
Dr. Timothy E. Phelan, MD, FACOG, is a distinguished OB/GYN at Creekside OB/GYN of Folsom. He's passionate about providing exceptional women's health care across the United States and enjoys serving patients in and around Folsom, California.
Originally from Oregon, Dr. Phelan graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Rochester in New York. He then returned to Oregon to earn his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where he discovered his calling as an obstetrician during his first delivery.
To gain extensive experience, Dr. Phelan sought out highly reputable residency programs. He completed a year of internship at the renowned Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, followed by a residency in OB/GYN at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. In 1999, he moved to Northern California and founded Creekside OB/GYN of Folsom, dedicated to providing compassionate care to women from adolescence through menopause.
Dr. Phelan is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. As a da Vinci-trained laparoscopic surgeon, he was the first to perform a da Vinci robotic surgery at Mercy Hospital of Folsom.
Outside his professional commitments, Dr. Phelan enjoys quality time with his wife and three daughters. He is also an avid ultra-marathon runner, continually pushing his limits in his free time.

Amazing as always with Dr phelan
I am so happy I met this doctor. I had been to a few other doctors and nobody caught that I had pre-cancer. He caught it with the first exam. Then when I had to have the light surgery, he literally held my hand until I fell asleep because he knew how stressed out I was, I highly recommend this doctor. My daughter has decided she’s going to start going to him now thank you Dr Phelan. You are the best.
