Tim LaGro received a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary after returning to school later in life following a first career in business management. Tim did his internship at a large community mental health center in Columbus, Ohio prior to moving to Indiana. He worked extensively in community mental health with children and families experiencing a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, family dysfunction, self-harm, severe mental illness, and suicidal ideation. Tim led two types of substance abuse groups both with adolescents and adults for three and a half years. Tim takes an integrative approach with helping people consisting of Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy interventions.
