He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Dr. Abston then completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Abston takes a special interest in performing minimally invasive endocrine and colon surgery and uses laparoscopic and robot-assisted techniques whenever possible.
He is currently a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.

Everything was fine except one huge drawback. After my surgery Dr Abston did not come see me or say anything about the procedure !
