Thomas D. Sokoly, DDS, is a talented and friendly dentist who’s been improving the smiles of the patients in the Washington metropolitan area since 1995. He currently treats patients at Sokoly Dental located in Washington D.C.
Dr. Sokoly has trained with some of the world’s most distinguished cosmetic and restorative dentists. He spent nearly 10 years working directly with his father, Laszlo Sokoly, DDS, a beloved dentist who earned a strong reputation for his excellent cosmetic and restorative skills during the 40 plus years he practiced in Washington D.C.
Dr. Sokoly has been recognized by several prominent organizations for his empathetic patient care and skilled dental abilities. He’s a fellow to the International College of Dentists, a fellow to the American College of Dentists, and served as the general chairman of the 2014 Nation’s Capital Mid-Atlantic Dental Meeting.
He is also known for being a leader in his field. Dr. Sokoly was the president of the DC Dental Society in 2016 and currently sits on the board of directors. He also serves on the board of directors of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Sokoly is incredibly active in his field, enjoying memberships in the Maimonides Dental Society, the Millenium Dental Study Club, and the Dental Science Study Club.

Dr. Sokoly and his team are the best! Friendly, professional, use the latest technology, and have unparalleled expertise. The options are presented, explained, and performed with great care. I have been a patient of this practice for almost 30 years.
I’ve had PTSD from dentists before but the experiences I’ve had from here are exceptional. The staff is friendly. Scheduling is super easy. They are super communicative. All the things really!!! Fine job! Have recommended this to multiple people I know.
As always, Dr. S and staff were superb in every way. Their communication, courtesy, professionalism and supreme skill are evident in every interaction and appointment. I couldnt be more appreciative.

Meticulous! Most comprehensive cleaning exam I’ve ever had. All steps were thoroughly explained. Staff were incredibly kind and welcoming! The hygienist was the most gentle while providing the absolute best cleaning I’ve experienced. ABSOLUTELY LOVE this group and Dr SOKOLY!!!

1st off I have never had a dentist spend that amount of time with me. His attention to detail was unparalleled. His assistant was outstanding, kind, patient and gentle. Now let just me just say a thing or two about the office manager Renee, had it not been for her I would not have kept this appointment. I would have put it off and put it off for ever. She called, texted and constantly reminding me. Most of all she helped me find financing. Did I mention she is Soooo Hot.

Great friendly Care.
Recently, had one of those unexpected dental events in the evening where you hope to be able to see the dentist the next day to be able to take care of a chipped or broken tooth. Dr. Sokoly,‘s office fit me in right away. Thankfully, the solution was much less of a challenge than I was concerned about. I was in and out of the chair in less than 45 minutes.
